WHY REMOVABLE DECK PANELS?
Shoremaster Dock Systems feature removable decking panels for several important reasons.
CEDAR OR GLACIER FLOW-THROUGH DECK PANELS?
CEDAR - Many customers love the look of Shoremaster’s traditional CEDAR deck panels, and it continues to be a popular choice. Shoremaster manually selects, cuts and assembles the CEDAR decking to assure high quality wood and lasting performance. The CEDAR can be left to gray naturally or can be treated with decking sealer to maintain the rich amber color.
GLACIER FLOW-THROUGH - Another great option is Shoremaster’s GLACIER FLOW-THROUGH deck panels. FLOW-THROUGH Deck Panels
OTHER DECK PANEL OPTIONS - Aluminum in natural silver, painted white, painted tan or wood-look in gray or amber.
WHY REMOVABLE DECK PANELS?
Shoremaster Dock Systems feature removable decking panels for several important reasons.
- Shoremaster builds the strength of their dock systems in the frame sections themselves, they don’t rely on the decking to provide the system its strength.
- Removable deck panels make the dock sections much lighter to lift or roll in and out of the water. Stacked decking sections can also be easily stored in a garage/shed or covered to extend life of decking.
- Deck panels can be replaced individually (in 2’ panels) if necessary. Also, updating or upgrading the decking material is simple, with no need to replace entire dock sections or dismantle fixed decking.

- Are maintenance-free and slip-resistant
- Promote faster drying, and flow-though openings keep dirt and debris from accumulating
- Allow wave action to largely pass through the deck panels, lowering the chance of deck panels washing away from dock sections in heavy weather
OTHER DECK PANEL OPTIONS - Aluminum in natural silver, painted white, painted tan or wood-look in gray or amber.
